How it works
Evaporative coolers cool the air by filtering hot air outside through moist pads on all sides of the unit which are kept wet via a small water pump inside. The water evaporates into the air and is then forced down into the ducts and grills running inside the roof space to each room. The pressure created from the cool air being forced into the room pushes out old air via open windows or doors. This process ensures fresh cool air is being constantly cycled through the room. You can control the way air flows in the house by opening or closing certain doors or windows, it is very important to have an amount of windows/doors open at all times when the evaporative cooling system is operating.

How often should I get my Evaporative Cooler Serviced?
